With effect 1 June 2022, Wessing & Partner promote Andreas Pfister to partnership.
Andreas Pfister advises and defends companies and individuals in all areas of commercial and criminal tax law. His main areas of expertise include criminal employment law and corruption offences. In recent years, he has increasingly established himself as a criminal tax expert in the context of Cum-Ex and Cum-Cum investigations. He is also particularly experienced with internal investigations and criminal proceedings on the international stage.

With the promotion of Andreas Pfister, Wessing & Partner now count eight partners. Also the number of associates has increased to eight: As of 1 April, criminal tax lawyer Philipp Butler Ransohoff has rejoined the firm from Lüdicke & Partner where he had left for in 2020 after several years with Wessing & Partner. The same date, Jana Hammesfahr, previously with Flick Gocke Schaumburg, joined the firm. On 1 May, Christian Heinelt, will join the team as an associate; he already completed his legal traineeship at Wessing & Partner.
