Laura Marie Hanke

Laura Hanke advises and represents individuals and companies in all areas of commercial criminal law. The focus of her work is on IT and data protection criminal law.

Laura Hanke completed her law studies at the University of Münster, where she specialized in criminal law. She gained her first practical experience as a research assistant at a major international law firm in the field of data protection law.

From 2022 to 2024, Laura Hanke completed her legal clerkship at the Düsseldorf Regional Court. During this time, she deepened her expertise through stations at the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information NRW, the Senate of the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court responsible for data protection law and at the law firm Wessing & Partner. Parallel to this and after her legal clerkship, she continued to work as a research assistant at Wessing & Partner.

Since her admission to the bar at the Düsseldorf Bar Association in 2024, Laura Hanke has been working as a lawyer at Wessing & Partner. She advises her clients in German and English.
